GPs back access to abortion

THE vast majority of GPs including some doctors who are anti-abortion believe all women should have access to abortion services, according to one of the most comprehensive surveys of Australian GPs attitudes to the issue.The survey also revealed more than one-third of the 2500 doctors questioned did not fully understand the abortion laws in their state or territory.
